Our Story

Zanoise was founded to bring clarity, focus, and a high level of personal service to the field of neighboring rights administration. Our approach combines deep industry expertise with a commitment to tailored, hands-on support for music rightsholders.

Co-founders Ernst Jacob Bakker and Dimitry van Dalen previously worked at Fintage House, where they were closely involved in building and operating neighboring rights business lines and administration platforms. Their experience spans both strategic development and day-to-day royalty operations.

Ernst brings a background that includes senior roles at the Dutch collecting society Buma/Stemra and later as EVP at Fintage House, where he helped shape international rights management structures. Dimitry played a central role in developing neighboring rights frameworks and music royalty administration processes, with a strong focus on data, accuracy, and scalable operations.

Since the launch of Zanoise Talent and the subsequent formation of the Zanoise Group, our focus has remained consistent: delivering specialized, reliable services to music rightsholders. By managing the administrative and technical complexities of neighboring rights, we allow artists and their representatives to focus on what matters most — their creative and professional work.
