In France, there are two neighbouring rights collectives for performers: Adami and Spedidam.
Adami
Income types: broadcasting, public performance and private copy.
Who can join: recording artists (with a focus on featured artists) and actors.
Distribution frequency: semi-annually (main distributions).
Which recordings qualify: recordings that have been made in a Rome Convention country. For private copy, only recordings made in the European Union qualify.

Spedidam

Distribution frequency: every four months; in practice, the distribution schedule has proven to be fluid.
