After University Dimitry joined the Fintage House Group and was involved in setting up the neighboring rights collections structure alongside acting as the companies’ global head of music royalties and administration for 15 years. Towards the end of 2018 Dimitry teamed up with Ernst to focus on collecting neighboring rights within their own venture Zanoise Talent.
In his spare time he likes to practice Jiu Jitsu and build large scale Star Wars Lego sets. In addition to this, he is a community volunteer helping to guide people with financial difficulties.
Meet Ernst Jacob
After finishing his studies at the conservatory of Amsterdam, Ernst worked for a decade at the Dutch PRO Buma/Stemra in various capacities. Ernst joined the Fintage House group in 2000 and as EVP for music publishing and neighboring rights, he was instrumental in the development of Fintage’s leading rights administration platform collecting neighboring rights royalties for many world famous artists.
After the sale of Fintage’s music division to Kobalt Music Ernst established the Zanoise Group to provide bespoke services to music rightsholders. In his spare time, Ernst is a member of the supervisory board of a famous pipe organ builder and the conductor of an elderly choir.
After completing her piano studies at the Conservatory of Coimbra, Portugal and obtaining her law degree, Ariana worked for 10 years at SIC, the first commercial TV broadcaster in Portugal. In 2013, Ariana joined the neighboring rights department at Fintage House, where she headed the international team overseeing all neighboring rights collections worldwide. In 2019 Ariana joined Zanoise where she coordinates the company’s global collection activities.
In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with family, Dutch national park walks and countryside bike rides. When raining, there's nothing better than a puzzle challenge!
After completing Musicology at the University of Amsterdam, and with a bachelor’s degree in Music Management, Martin became an active musician in various groups, releasing records and touring Europe. Along the way he learned the traits of the music industry, focusing on neighboring rights and artist relations. In 2020 he joined Zanoise as part of the repertoire and collections team.
When he’s not working, Martin likes to travel the world and learn about other cultures. Preferably in his small camper van. Or listening to his eclectic record collection with friends while enjoying a fine meal and beverage.
Danilo was born in Bahia, Brazil and after graduating in economics moved to São Paulo, where he worked for six years in the International Department of the Brazilian music society ABRAMUS. There he was responsible for coordinating the payment of neighboring rights royalties collected in Brazil, but also for the collection of revenues for Brazilian repertoire played abroad.
In his free time, he likes swimming, listening to music and reading. He is a big fan of the movies directed by Martin Scorsese, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Federico Fellini, Glauber Rocha and Satyajit Ray. He also plans to start a small book publishing house with his wife in the near future.
